Rep. Jim Walsh, R-Aberdeen, discusses why he was a “no” vote on the controversial public records bill. The lawmaker also shares information on the voting rights act, which is designed to allow people unhappy with the outcome of an election the right to sue their local jurisdictions over how they handle their elections. Walsh says the measure discriminates particularly against small towns.
