Walsh speaks on House floor in support of amendments to proposed operating budget
Rep. Jim Walsh, R-Aberdeen, speaks on the House floor in support of the following amendments to the proposed operating budget:
- Amendment 332 would allocate $5 million to the Naselle Youth Camp. Rejected by a vote of 48-48, 2 excused.
- Amendment 354 would direct the Department of Commerce to prioritize funding for sober-living housing before low and no-barrier housing. Rejected.
- Amendment 336 would require the Department of Ecology to complete a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement on the use of Imidacloprid to control burrowing shrimp by May 31, 2017. Adopted.
