Rep. Jim Walsh speaks in front of the historic Grays Harbor Courthouse

Rep. Jim Walsh, R-Aberdeen, speaks in front of the historic Grays Harbor Court House about the need for law and order in our communities and state. The 19th District lawmaker discusses the state's investment of capital budget dollars for remodeling the courthouse and key legislative proposals that deal with matters of lawfulness.

Walsh has drafted a bill for the upcoming 2020 session that would increase the criminal penalty for voter registration fraud. He notes that the higher level of voter access approved in the prior session requires greater security. Another bill proposed by Walsh seeks to give local law enforcement more flexibility when assisting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
