Rep. Jim Walsh: Special carbon auction not the answer to long-term gas pricing relief

Rep. Jim Walsh, R-Aberdeen, discusses the Department of Ecology's decision to hold an extra cap-and-trade carbon auction as a way to help reduce gasoline prices in Washington state. The auction would sell extra permits to pollute. Walsh doesn't believe this would provide long-term relief to gasoline prices in Washington and says repeal of the cap-and-trade system may be the only way to ensure relief to consumers.
