The newly-elected Republican state representative from Aberdeen has just been appointed to serve on three committees in the Washington House of Representatives. John Sattgast reports from Olympia.
Rep. Jim Walsh, R-Aberdeen, has been named to the House Local Government, Capital Budget, and Business and Financial Services committees.
Jim Walsh was sworn in as state representative for the 19th Legislative District today (Thursday). The ceremony was led by Judge Dave Edwards at the Grays Harbor County Courthouse in Montesano.
